These terms govern the use of our website and the booking of moving services with HOME SHIFTING PACKERS & MOVERS, Karachi.
1. Quotations and Bookings
- All quotations are prepared after a survey (in person or via video call) and are valid for the period stated on the quotation.
- A booking is confirmed only when the date, scope of work and terms are agreed with our team — an online form submission is a request, not a confirmed booking.
- Prices may change if the actual scope differs from what was surveyed (e.g. extra items, additional floor without lift access, longer carrying distance). Any change is discussed with you before work continues.
2. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate addresses, floor information and contact numbers.
- Ensure parking access for the vehicle at both locations where possible.
- Empty, unplug and prepare appliances (fridge, washing machine, AC) before the crew arrives, unless agreed otherwise.
- Remove or personally carry items of exceptional value such as cash, jewellery and important documents.
3. Cancellations and Changes
We understand plans change. Please inform us as early as possible if you need to reschedule or cancel. Any advance paid against a confirmed booking may be subject to adjustment if the crew and vehicle have already been reserved for your date — the specifics are always agreed with you fairly and in advance.
4. Liability
- We handle every item professionally and with appropriate materials for its nature.
- Coverage for high-value or irreplaceable items should be discussed before the move so the correct packing method and handling can be agreed.
- We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control (road closures, weather, civil disturbances, building access issues).
